Looking for an entry level job or internship in Oregon? This is an overview of how to approach the search and a list of companies that might have relevant entry level and internship opportunities.

Located in the northwestern United States, Oregon’s variety of industries make it a good location for a recent graduate. Its largest cities are Portland, Eugene, and Salem.

Oregon is one of the major hazelnut growing areas in the world and as such produces most of the country’s hazelnuts. The state also grows grapes and wheat, some of which is used in the state’s many wineries and breweries. The state also has a strong fishing industry, particularly in salmon.

A strong technological presence has set itself up in Oregon, particularly in the Portland area, where a number of technology companies have headquarters or a large presence. Intel’s Portland branch employs over 15,000 people.
