Most positions working with large amounts of data involve writing programs to gain information, using statistical methods to come to conclusions, and using analytics software to analyze data.
A bachelor’s degree is required for almost all positions involving big data. Since you’ll be applying them a lot on the job, take lots of courses in math, computer science, and statistics.
