The specific steps differ depending on the product, but they can involve things like improving the quality of raw materials and improving a production technique.
Another area of quality assurance is software quality assurance, which tests software methods for quality. You’ll need to know how to read and write computer code for a job in software quality assurance, as well as how to run tests.
Education requirements vary depending on the type of quality assurance job you’re looking for. You can get some entry-level jobs in quality assurance with a high school diploma and knowledge of the product; however, a bachelor’s degree is useful, particularly in technical fields.
