If you’re not a stellar cook, you can work in a company that makes a food product. Think of your favorite food. Chances are there’s a brand behind that food that you can work with, and these companies have all the standard departments such as advertising, public relations, and finance, as well as food-specific departments such as food science and product development.
Another option is working with a grocery store, either in retail or the corporate side. Or you can work with a hunger-ending organization.
You’ll need a bachelor’s degree for most of these positions. If your dream is to be a chef or baker, on the job training and possibly culinary school are more useful than a degree.
