Looking for an entry level job or internship in training? This is an overview of how to approach the search and a list of companies that might have relevant entry level and internship opportunities.
Training can happen on or off the job. The ideas are the same in either case: people who know more about the topic at hand teach the employees what they know. The teachers (or trainers) more often than not come from a company with a training component. This company can be a non-profit that teaches skills, or it can be a large company that teaches someone how to use a product, or just about anything else.
If you’re interested in training as a career, you’ll need a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a field related to what you want to train. You should also get experience in some form of teaching, whether through tutoring or mentoring.
