France is the most visited country in the world and thus has a large tourism industry. While many popular tourist destinations are in Paris (including the Eiffel Tower, the Arc of Triumph, the Louvre, and Notre Dame), other locations such as its beaches, ski resorts, and rural areas also attract tourists.
Other popular industries in France include telecommunications, electricity, nuclear power, aircraft, and transportation. Agriculture is popular in rural areas, along with wine production. The business district of Paris, La Défense, houses many of the city’s large corporations.
