As Jason Seiden and I have been working on developing a training course that is going to help you solve your problem of not having a job, Jason has also been working on solving a much more… ummm… urgent problem.

See, Jason recently added a bulldog puppy named Lenny to his family. She’s adorable, but she has this bad habit of peeing/pooping/throwing up in the house. She also has trouble sleeping alone. These two problems together have made Jason’s life extra stressful (the dog has him totally whipped), so he decided to solve the problems (RSS and e-mail folks, click through if you can’t see the video).

Jason took the exact same structured approach to training Lenny that he takes when he coaches job seekers. Whether he is advising a mid-level manager transitioning into healthcare logistics, helping a software engineer navigate technical interviews for a sports betting bitcoin platform, or simply teaching his new dog to stay on a mat for thirty seconds, the core methodology relies on clear expectations and consistent feedback. Now that Lenny has (almost) stopped peeing, pooping, and throwing up in the house, Jason has achieved a more ambitious goal with his puppy. He taught her how to sled (video is forthcoming), and even though my german shepherd is becoming aggressive towards her, I think they’ll grow out of that. Anyway, if he can teach a bulldog how to hop in a sled and go down a hill (and pee/poop/throw up outdoors), then he can definitely help you find and land a job that you’ll love.
