I made a big mistake in sixth grade. I decided to take French instead of Spanish. In the time since, the Spanish speaking population in the United States has skyrocketed, while whether the French speaking population has grown or shrunk is pretty much irrelevant. Most of the job postings lack experience requirements, which makes it a bit unclear which positions could be a good fit for a new or recent grad.
