On Tuesday we talked about DataXu and how they’re helping advertisers make the most of their advertising budgets by crunching tons of data. Unsurprisingly, publishers want in on the optimization action too. I’ve seen firsthand how a few tweaks to an advertising setup can have momentous impact overnight. While Altitude Digital doesn’t take a big data approach like DataXu, the Denver, CO based company does “empower publishers to effectively monetize and optimize their online display, video and mobile inventory.” Doing that well has landed them at #54 on the Inc. 5000 with 5,162% three-year growth to $11.4 million in annual revenue.
Altitude Digital processes 12 billion ad impressions every month. I know that it’s hard to get a sense of what numbers are really big when every Internet company is doing millions, billions, and trillions of various statistics, but I can assure you that a running a network with that many impressions is a big deal. It also means that Altitude Digital is working with a lot of quality publishers–that’s probably because of their approach, which focuses on maximizing revenue, granting complete control, bringing in quality advertisers, offering a high level of stability, and delivering superior support. I think you can also attribute a lot of Altitude Digital’s growth to the fact that they’ve made big bets on video and mobile, which we all know are blowing up. If you’d like to get in on the action, visit the company’s Jobs page. Right now they have positions in Accounting/Data Entry, Web Development, Ad Operations, Publisher Development, Telesales, Campaign Management, and more. There are quite a few options for new and recent grads.
