Yesterday we looked at SocialCode, an agency that specializes in social media marketing for huge brands. Today’s company does similar kinds of work, but at a higher level. We’re talking about things ranging “from media relations and corporate communications strategies to flawless event execution.” The company is called HL Group, and they’re based in New York, NY. It was “founded in 2001 by Hamilton South and Lynn Tesoro,” two industry professionals who decided to out on their own. HL Group has seen exceptional growth since, and they now work across a wide array of industries including fashion, retail, beauty, consumer products, technology, home design, travel and more.

I mentioned that HL Group has some major clients–they include Mercedes, Crate & Barrel, David Yurman, Expedia, TOMS Shoes, and Barbie. Another similarity between HL Group and yesterday’s company is the ease of use on their website. All you have to do is keep scrolling to get the whole story, and you can even go deeper. You can see what they do for clients in terms of Brand Consulting, Media Relations, Corporate Communications, Event Services, Influencer Engagement, and Social Media. The scrolling has to stop when you start looking for jobs, as the HL Group has a very simple Careers page. Right now the best posting for a new or recent grad is Account Coordinator, but if you have the experience for an Account Management position, there are a lot more options.
