When I was a kid, receiving a package was a big deal because there was probably something good inside. It’s a no-brainer for small businesses. They don’t have to pay anything upfront, and 71lbs does all of the heavy lifting. The company does take 50% of all refunds, but what’s left after that is probably way more than the company would be able to get back if they were monitoring shipping refunds on their own.
