If you watch the news, it’s easy to believe that we’re all constantly at great risk of dying in some sort of disaster. Yes, there are a lot of threats out there, but most of us shouldn’t waste a lot of time worrying about them. There are, however, some people whose job it is to worry about and prepare for the worst. I’m clearly not the person to analyze how effective Digital Sandbox’s software solutions are, but their client list certainly indicates that they’re a leader in the industry. They have worked with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; the States of North Carolina, New Jersey, Maryland, Maine, and the District of Columbia; multiple directorates and agencies within the Department of Homeland Security, the Departments of Justice and Defense, and members of the Intelligence Community. Digital Sandbox’s software is cloud-based, and it is accessible from mobile devices like the iPhone and iPad (according to the images on the company’s site).
