For some new grads it takes them a realization before they can get anything done in their job search. For some companies it takes Realization to help them get projects done and accomplish the goals that they set out to achieve. Realization provides their clients with execution management systems that help managers do 2 simple things:
1. Keep all work across all departments and across all levels of management tightly coordinated.
2. Exercise proactive control – stamp out small problems before they become big problems that require firefighting.
These may sound like things that companies should be able to take care of themselves, but clearly they can’t. Otherwise, Realization wouldn’t exist.
Are you still confused as to what Realization actually does? We are too. That’s why we took a look at Realization’s Case Studies, Resources, and Offerings to get a better idea of how Realization helps other companies get things done. Here’s what we gathered. Many companies have trouble getting people on separate teams to work together to accomplish a project. While one project may be a priority to one department, another project may be the priority in another project. This leads to internal struggles that cause projects to be overdue and over budget. Realization offers a software solution that enables executives to manage projects across departments and to ensure that all teams have the right priorities. Realization also provides implementation services and training/coaching to ensure that their software solutions are used correctly.
When you actually look at what Realization does and see the results in their case studies, you can see how execution management would be a pretty cool area to work in. If you’re intrigued, you should note that Realization is looking for Implementers. Although Realization’s Careers page says that Implementers should have 2-3 years of industry experience, we’ve seen this job repeatedly targeted towards new Engineering grads. If you have a solid background in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or Operations Management and are good with software, then you can probably consider this an entry-level position. Realization is based in San Jose, CA and you can apply by sending a cover letter and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
