Much to most people’s chagrin, governments need to generate revenue. Without money, they can’t operate, so they’re always looking for new and better ways to get it. Sometimes that means levying new taxes or fees, but sometimes it just means taking a more efficient approach to collecting established revenue streams. I don’t see any stats on what percentage of that $10 trillion can be considered a return on investing in Grant Street Group’s software, but even a tiny percentage would be an extremely significant figure.
