Brand managers can work with any company that has a brand. Depending on the size of the company, a brand manager may also work in marketing, public relations, or even social media management; this is more likely to be the case with small companies. Brand managers can also work with agencies that provide brand management services.
You’ll need a bachelor’s degree for most brand management jobs, as well as creativity and excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills. Some well-known products offer brand ambassador programs on college campuses, which is a great way to see if managing a brand is for you.
