This young woman presented Playpumps' story and mission to a room of hundreds of the most influential leaders in non-profits nationwide. The amazing thing about organizations like this is that they do really effective work with little money! And it truly is sustainable; what I love about Playpumps is that it's not about getting American hands all tied up in African water shortage; they are providing the basic materials and knowledge for these countries to help themselves. And that PlayPumps just raises money and awareness for them. Maybe there are fundraising jobs available in the US? They are in DC. They have a big goal... $60 mil isn't easy in today's economy.
