I can't imagine comfortably reading the news and using other apps (as shown on the Chumby site) on an object the size and shape of a Chumby. I leave my iPod Touch on my nightstand connected to speakers and listen to podcasts or Pandora a I fall sleep. I let its alarm wake me in the morning, and I check the news before I even get out of bed. And I take it downstairs with me where it continues to be useful and not get in the way. I'm sure there is an audience for the Chumby, but I prefer a more portable device.
